Only civilized People with good Sanskar speak PURE HINDI

I, Shreeram Vidyarthi for one, a Hindi journalist of some fifty years standing, entirely oppose on this bastardization of 'Hindi' journalism being carried out by Bharat's upper-middle-class consumerist society and their patrons. The move of putting English words in many Hindi magazines started when the English news magazine INDIA TOAY launched its Hindi edition under the same title; Then a broad-sheet titled Sunday Observer, also turned to a Hindi edition without translating the title.

            In fact the use of English words started in year 1946. In that year Times of India brought out its Hindi edition which was named Nav Bharat Times. At that time no body objected the use of English word Times in Hindi. This paved the way for flooding the use of English words in Hindi. Afterwards many media people started using English words in Hindi.

Basically, this cultural fornication is being conducted for two reasons: One, in order to communicate with the Anglicised Indian idiot class of people who come out of so-called public schools (where education is conducted in English Medium). and second, to convey the consumerist messages of marketing gurus of the advertising industry, who could not dare to tell Mr. and Mrs. in Hindi some things related with sex and fun. Bharatiya media wants to tell to average Bharatiya that Sex is good, sex is fun, and sex is healthy in Hindi, but find difficult to say openly (because in Hindi the information sounds ashlil, i.e. obscene and in English it sound 'educated' and 'enlightened' and intelligent and mature).....and that all human being were created by God almighty just to enjoy sex, because nothing else matters in life. To hell with ideals and values and culture and compassion and consideration or contemplation on issues of common concerns.

This Anglicised Hindi media is guilty of driving a serious wedge between the monied, urbanized, upper-middle-class and the poor, rural working classes of Bharat.

I am committed to condemning this stupid 'designer Hindi' being flogged by magazines like ' Meri Saheli, Griha-shobha, “Grah Laxmi,' – such women's magazine industry which is selling nothing but sex and overt, shameless consumption of nation's resources without any plough-back of sincere and honest human effort into life of Bharat’s  civilization and as a nation. There are other such magazines which use lots of English and Arabic words: like Hindi India Today, Hindi Sunday observer and many more. In fact most of the Hindi media people use lots of English, Arabic, Farsi, Turkish and Urdu words in Hindi.

 These corrupted Hindi media people do not use Common man's pure Hindi!

You Hindi media people are doing a great service to us Indo-Americans by presenting the latest news of India. What disappoints most of us Hindi lovers of USA is the quality of your Hindi, which is more Arabic, Farsi, Turkish and Urdu than Hindi. Sometimes the Arabic or Persian words used in your Hindi are so difficult to understand that we feel like skipping your news and other programs altogether.

One TV Hindi news says in its slogan "Hakikat Jaisa Khabar Vaisi" could be "Satyata (or Sachaii) Jaisi Samachaar Vaisa". "Muhaiya karaya" could be "upalabdha karaya", and so on. There are many such TV and radio stations who broadcast such filthy language.

The TV Asia "Hindi Samachaar" uses crisper and purer Hindi than yours, though it is prepared in the USA. We will really appreciate it if you could improve your Hindi.

If student makes a mistake by using improper Hindi, it is pardonable.   But when he becomes a lecturer and repeats that mistake deliberately with the intention of demolishing that language to please some powers that be or for some ulterior motives, it is unpardonable. Hindi media people earn their money on the name of Hindi, but still they keep making mistake and keep using very, very defective Hindi

But why should Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Urdu be used in Hindi?

Once someone who is a Lecturer in Hindi Language at the London University (an Englishman) came to give a talk in Manchester. In a discussion I mentioned that in a local Mandir there is a poster written in Devanagiri: sharaab peekai mandir main aanaa sakht manaa hai.  He said that he goes at least once a year to Bharat - he has yet to meet anyone who can speak proper Hindi. He then mentioned that the word that should have been used is nishaid (in place of manaa).

In Bharat most of the media people and commercial people ignore Hindi. Most of the commercial people do not put Hindi on the labels of their products, which are manufactured in Bharat and to be consumed by Bharatiya people.

People who put English only on the labels of their products say:

They claim English is the national link language - while only a tiny proportion speak it;

They ignore that Hindi is the national language;

They feel local languages are important but not the national language;

They think the word like 'taaza', Shurkhiya, tahat, muddha, Sukriya are a Hindi words - Heaven help!

They say printing labels in English, giving cast of Hindi film in English is permitted in Bharat by law - are they claiming that use of Hindi is not permitted by law?

I am of the views that if Hindi word is available then Hindi word must be used every where. If Hindi word is not available, only then Urdu or English or any other language word might be used. Hindi has more words than the combined words in the dictionaries of English and Urdu words. But Hindi media people do not use and spread pure Hindi words.

Hindi media people are slave people and spread mental slavery amongst Hindus. When a Pakistani or Muslim journalist comes on the air of any Hindi service, almost in 100% cases, he/she speaks in Urdu. When any Hindi speaking journalist goes on air in Urdu service, he also speaks in Urdu in stead of speaking in Hindi. But the problem is that you Hindi media people do not use Hindi words, in spite of the fact Hindi words are available. You Hindi media do not spread Hindi words, therefore Hindi words do not become known, familiar and do not spread.

BBC Hindi service uses so many Urdu words that sometimes there are more Urdu words than Hindi words in the Hindi service of BBC. All the journalists of BBC Hindi service are very poorly qualified from  Hindi point of view  Due to lots of Urdu words it is difficult to read and understand BBC Hindi service website. This BBC Hindi service Website is mostly in Urdu but written in nagri script.

One does not know who is in charge of BBC Hindi service, to whose notice the problem of use of defective and impure Hindi by its staff members be brought

BBC Hindi service must be overhauled and improved as BBC Hindi service on the name of Hindi; spreads filth and creates traitors for Hindi. Most of the Hindi media people and services are like BBC Hindi service.
One cannot understand why you media people always use words like  Muddha, Tahat, Matahat, Faisla, Mahoul, Daskhat, Kasak, Faiyada, Khreed-Frokht, Munasib, Mutabik, Moka (sounds like Koka), Hidaaayat, Nateeza, Mukaam, Kabool, Jimmedar,
Aagaaz, Surkhiya, tahat, Matahat, Muddhe, Taleem etc. What is the point in using such words in Hindi all the time when proper Hindi words are available?

There is no end to this list. Are these Hindi words or there is no Hindi equivalent for these words?

What is the problem in using Hindi word when Hindi word is available? You Hindi media people give the impression to public as if you people are also in the payroll of some unseen forces to promote Urdu and English in the name of Hindi. If you media people earn money on the Hindi, then what is the problem in speaking proper Hindi?
Most of the Hindi media are traitors to Hindi as you Hindi media people justify the use of Urdu and English words in Hindi on one excuse or the other.

Learn Arabic and see how many foreign words are used in that language. I listen that program for hours (although I do not understand that language) but I never hear any English word in that program. You watch Arabic program on TV, even after watching for several hours, one would not find even a single word written in English.
Please always use Hindi words in Hindi, if Hindi word is available.

Hindi is not a vast ocean, where you can put as much filth and garbage as any body likes or traitorous media people like to put

Some of you shameless anti Hindu anti Bharat Hindi media people say that you are fighting for common language while Hindi lovers are fighting for correct and pure Hindi.

It shows the bankruptcy of you media people knowledge. What is wrong for fighting for correct Hindi?

What is common man's language?  Is it to put filth in the language? When a language has got its own proper words then what is the validity for using words from another language? When a language does not have its own word, then another language word might be used Do you Hindi media people use common man's word? You have used in your Hindi service many times "Khabroe ka Aagaaz". Is Aagaaz common man's word? One does never hear this word very often. Do not the people who do not understand such words come under the category of common man?

You Hindi media people first put filth in Hindi language then call it common man's language. How you Hindi media people know what common man’s language is?

How many English words you use in German then say we are using common man's words?

You people first put Urdu and English words, then call it common man's language. What is the need of putting Urdu and English words in Hindi?

Do you know Hindi has so many words, that if you combine Urdu and English dictionaries, then the amount of Hindi words is more? But you people never use proper Hindi words and make them popular all the time.

You media people cover your ignorance by using filth in Hindi then call it common man's language.

You Hindi media people do not do your job properly and some of you people are unworthy of the job in Hindi services.
