Ssl Feb12 0:00 /usr/sbin/asterisk -p -U asterisk Gee, I only have 7 MB free! I must reboot to free some memory! And that Asterisk is using so much memory! In fact: 1. The system has some 100MB of free memory. almost all of it is used for caching and such. 2. Asterisk overcommits memory: it generally asks the kernel huge ammounts of memory, but doesn't really try to use them. At least with Linux such overcommits are not claimed at all. -- Tzafrir Cohen icq#16849755 jabber:[EMAIL PROTECTED] +972-50-7952406 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.xorcom.com iax:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/tzafrir _______________________________________________ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
