Two of the most appreciated features in my setup:
No blocked numbers ring through - ever
No calls except on the whitelist (family, etc) or if the caller enters a
'hidden' option in the default ivr between 11 PM and 6 AM
Been sleeping better ever since. And in the two plus years I have this setup I
have missed a total of one phone call.
I had an acquaintance recently call from a different number that's not blocked
since the line they usually call from is blocked and tell me, "Did you know
that your phone doesn't accept blocked numbers?". "Yes, fabulous isn't it?".
Have heard much from them since.

There is some idiot who's been calling my home number for the past few days
after mid-night and this has been going on in spite of me telling the idiot
they reached the wrong number. I have been courteous and polite. They keep
calling and I think this is a sick prank someone is pulling - thinking its
funny. The call is from a blocked number each time (what a coward).
This calling past mid-night has a negative effect on my 4 year old and my 6
month old as they have been rudely awakened at odd hours like 2 or 3 in the
morning. Absolutely unacceptable!
Anyhow... Asterisk dial plans to the rescue:
exten => 4165551212,1,GotoIF($[${CALLERIDNUM}=anonymous]?DROPIT,1:2)
; Where 4165551212 is replaced with my real number
exten => DROPIT,1,NoOP(Anonymous Caller be gone!)
exten => DROPIT,n,PlayBack(tt-monkeys) ; Makes them hear SCREAMING
monkeys.
exten => DROPIT,n,Hangup()
