Took binary 2.6.21-1.3228_1.fc7.cubbi_suspend2 from Matthias, rebuilt openafs kernel module manually and it all works with fglrx-8.39.4 and suspend to disk. For the record, this works fine with xorg-server-1.3.0 (there was a problem with fglrx-8.38.6 and one had to downgrade to xorg-server-1.2.0) and the latest hibernate-tuxonice and userui-tuxonice packages.
