Does anyone know if a Grub 2 compatible atv-bootloader is planned or
in the works? I'm referring to the bootloader parsing menu.lst which
is removed/changed in grub 2 (ubuntu 9.10/10.04).

I know it's fairly easy to create your menu.lst (which is what I do
now), but upgrading/patching kernels becomes a little more involved
than they are under the previous grub version.

As ubuntu 8.04 is required to get audio over HDMI and that's what I use, I don't have any active plans to add grub2 parsing. That said, I'd also like to release a new version of atv-bootloader at some time to update some nagging issues. So patches welcome if someone has worked out grub2 parsing.
