Elaine M, The 1905 (and a few years before and after) New Bedford City Directories has who married the year before and who owns cars. Maybe something else. It's in the back of the directory.
I'll check later and see if I have anything on Claudina Silva. I don't think so, as I think I'm related to her husband's line (which is how I connect to you way back).
