Hi Ramdas AFAIK brubeck is the fastest Python framework along with gevent. It uses Mongrel2 and ZMQ, https://github.com/j2labs/brubeck/tree/nubeck.
Unfortunately it is in maintenance mode, but ideas can be borrowed for scale.
