Diagnostic tests yesterday confirmed that Spencer has stomach cancer. This may be a recurrence of the fibrosarcoma which has been in remission for so many years. About 1/4 to 1/3 of his stomach is non-functional, and little is passing through (which explains last month's blockage and the continued vomiting).
