Vitals: BES 4.1.6 Domino 8.0.1 I've found 60 users with errors in the domino log. "UnreadMarks::Init - Failed to find user info note (Entry not found in index 0x0404)" after some research I've found that the user profile document is missing from the state database, the user profile document contains the "UnreadMarksTable" as an attachment.
The only documented fix for this issue is to disable the user, remove their account from the BES and delete the state DB. Once this has complete you can recreate the user and re-activate the BB. On the surface this seems OK however, once I reactivate I get double (duplicated) contacts (note pim sync is configured to sync to mail file). There are two "desktop" configurations under contacts.. Any thoughts on how to do this cleanly without sending a "killpill" to the device.
