Mark, Holy cow...that's awful and it would be so easy for someone to make off with one or two and it would be hard to notice.
We have watch dogs on all sides of the sheep, plus motion detector lights and elec fencing. In your case I would ad video cameras if possible. Happy New Year to you, too.
