While we are on the subject. Does anybody have any objection to
creating a contrib/lsb-v3 directory in the next few days? Thanks to
Dan's initd-tools package, we are very close to a working, fully LSB
compliant initscript setup. I am currently minimizing the dependencies
on my existing scripts and should commit in the next day or two. Take
note that it would increase the size of the bootscripts package two fold
once all of the current scripts are accounted for, but this will not
happen immediately.

Obviously, assuming that there are no objections, you would not change
the book's entity if you add a script in the contrib/ directory, unless
it is actually mentioned in the book for some odd reason. contrib/
could also house other LFSized initscripts such as those used for
wireless-tools and other programs that are not in the book ATM.
