So, now that I'm not going to be spending the evening celebrating
today's anticipated victory in the olympic road race [ can you say
hubris ? ], I've decided to take a look at some of the oddities in
longindex.html.

This was prompted because I couldn't find XML-Parser the other day
(yes, I know it's in perl modules, but sometimes I keep longindex
open). Turns out that it *is* there, but like all the perl modules
it's shown with '::' so 'XML::Parser' and the package is 'Perl
Modules'. That part is correct, I'll just have to remember the
difference (compare Python modules).

But when I eventually found the perl modules (under 'Other') I
found a bunch of other things, many of which are wrong (mainly,
programs). And then there are items headed 'L' (probably packages)
and one 'O' (a package).

Mostly, these errors come from typos when editing, or from copying
another erroneous package. I'll fix them if I can (the entry for
TrueType fonts in xorg-config might be another matter). No doubt
there are others tucked away in the preceding sections.

Having worked out what goes where, I was going to document this.
But it turned out that it is hidden away at the end of the editor's
guide. Who would have thought! [ table 6.1, in 'About Tagging' ].

The one additional thing I've learned is that e- entries
(Configuration Files) are "tricky" : e-AA-* render as ~/.* and all
other e-*-*-* replace the '-' by '/' e.g. e-etc-screenrc renders as
/etc/screenrc in section e. I'll try to expand on the guide's
information for e- after fixing up the wrong entries.
