Never tried, but I assume it works through usb-storage. I'd expect the
behaviour to be similar to any other usb-storage device - insert the
card, and udev will create an appropriate entry for it under /dev
(presumably as sd*).

Can you tell us what appears in /dev when you insert the card, and if
there are any relevant entries already there? Anything appearing on the
console (run dmesg to retrieve it)?
