Hi,
I have a DVD on which there had been three folders. I erased them with plans
to rewrite them in an updated form. The computer burned up before I got it
done. No overwriting was done on the DVD. Is there any inexpensive way to
recover that data?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Lloyd

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Computer tech resource
Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know, registration is now open
for an awesome resource for classes on learning about
building/repairing/maintaning computers as well as others on networking
available on-line. And the good news is it is taught by and for blind
individuals. Students range from folks that just want to learn more about
computers to be more self sufficient and confident, to those wanting Cisco
certification or A+ certification. It is available for anyone throughout
the world,
There is info at the address below, but trust me it is more laid back and
less intimidating than it appears... good folks. I am in the midst of IT
Essentials and entered with little to know ggeek knowledge and learning a
lot. They also have what is called CaviCasts, which are couple hour demos
on various applications and etc. One recent demo was done by one of the
developers of NVDA who came in for Q&A and various walk throughs, another
was a demo by blind users of the incredibly affordable multi-track
recording software Reaper, other sessions were things like discussion of
backup methods and apps, use of effects in sound recordings, and a range
of topics. Its worth checking out.

Courses are very reasonable, I could have paid for them already for work I
had done just prior to my starting this class. You can also email them for
more info at cavii...@cucat.org
Thought some might like to know.
