HEllo,
I've discovered GRUB 0.5.92 working on a PC with Linux RedHat 6.0
and that's fine.
Isn't possible to compile GRUB on a machine (a PC) using GNU DGJPP environment
or just to compile using a GCC cross-compile for ix86 ported on a VAX?

                        Thank you in advance

ps I have another question for you, excuse me again!
I cannot understand how prepare a Multiboot header for the
kernel I would boot using GRUB, a "proprietary" OS.
It should be possible to boot any kernel "Multiboot" compliant,
as I read on the documentation, or the OS must use a.out or ELF
        header?
Could you tell me more or suggest which document must I read?
        Thanks a lot.
