Sorry, this happened using grub 0.5.93.1, here's a typescript
from the grub shell,
GRUB version 0.5.93.1 (640K lower / 4096K upper memory)
[ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
completions of a device/filename. ESC at any time exits. ]
grub> root (fd0)
Filesystem type unknown, using whole disk
grub> chainloader +1
Invalid or unsupported executable format
grub>
Thanks,
