Reminds me that i have a patch lying around that fixes this 'UNSPEC' for ib interfaces. > UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:2044 Metric:1 > RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:18 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:128 > RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B) > >If I statically define the IP address of ib0, communication works perfect. > >I have tested with busybox 1.1.2 and 1.5.1. > >Is udhcpc supported over Infiniband? IIRC Hal did once post a patch that added verbs support to dhcpd (not our udhcp). Not sure if this was added to upstream. I never tried the combination of ipoib and the busybox udhcpd/udhcpc, unfortunately.. Since i'm usually not using IP, i'd recommend you to have a more detailed look into the issue yourself if you need IP. >note: I have also tried assigning the client-id at the command line as >well as defined by the DHCP over IB RFC. good luck, _______________________________________________ busybox mailing list busybox@busybox.net http://busybox.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/busybox
