> Does any one know exactly why perfectly good e-mail
> sometimes gets placed in the "Undeliv" folder?

Usually:

1) The message is not "perfectly good" (invalid TO or FROM)
2) The mail server is not "perfectly good" (down or not configured to accept
mail)
3) The connection to the mail server it not "perfectly good"

> CUSTOM TAG Description
> This tag, when used in conjunction with the Scheduler in
> Cold Fusion 4.x, will scan the UNDELIVERABLE directory
> of your Cold Fusion Application server for e-mail that
> was designated undeliverable. If it finds any messages
> there, it moves them into the SPOOL folder so that
> another attempt to mail them can be made. The tag also
> returns summary information about each file moved.
> Because some e-mail messages may never be deliverable,
> the tag will delete messages that are older than a user
> defined date range.
