Subject: [CFCDEV] Getting around IE blank page or no refresh on a survey

Greeting Folks,

Background info:
I've developed a single page survey (15 multiple choice questions with
show/hide attributes) that the users logs in to take and are
automatically logged out when they submit their survey. The following
page is a thank you for taking the survey. I set the session for 10
minutes of non-activity just in case they are interrupted while taking
the survey.

Problem:
I had only two or three complaints about receiving a blank page,
therefore, they used the back button and tried to resubmit thinking that
their initial survey answers were not submitted. These users say that
they only attempted to submit once, then use the back button when they
had a blank screen (meaning their screen didn't refresh). I was only
under the impression that this IE issue only occurred when a user
repeatedly re-entered or bookmarks a page to re-enter at the same page.

Any thoughts or remedies are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric
