Jeff, To my knowledge there are none that exist for ColdFusion. However if you are looking to roll your own, there are two Java frameworks that you might want to look at:
Acegi: http://www.acegisecurity.org jGuard: http://jguard.xwiki.com Acegi integrates tightly with Spring, so if you're by chance a ColdSpring user you might be able to look at Acegi and find ways to hook your own implementation into CS. -Cliff On 10/4/06, Jeff Chastain <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Does anybody know of an example, article, or tutorial on building an object oriented role based security system? I have gotten tired of re-inventing the wheel for each application and would like to build a modular security system that could be fairly easily dropped into any application and quickly integrated without starting from scratch. Any suggestions? Thanks. You are subscribed to cfcdev. To unsubscribe, please follow the instructions at http://www.cfczone.org/listserv.cfm CFCDev is supported by: Katapult Media, Inc.
