HI Dan - Jacob has the right idea - what you also might want to do is
change the IP address that the email is transmitted from.  If you can
get IP address from different IP ranges this also helps.  This
requires changing the DNS setting on the mail server but it's not to
hard to do.  I can't give code samples due to IP restrictions but you
can do it.
