My neighbor, Laura Kindseth, has accepted a position as the Main Street Manager in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Laura has been a fantastic neighbor and a crucial part of Old Goucher and Charles Village scene.
My niece, Corey Fletcher, was accepted in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and was honored in a ceremony on September 26. It was Mary who designed the CVCA Business Members decal which encourages Villagers to support local businesses. I mentioned to Sandy Sparks that the project warrants an article in The Charles Villager. She believes it would be best timed for spring to encourage other neighbors to plant flowers on their blocks.
