When was the last time bubonic plague was a problem in the US?

Just as I thought. You are an empty drum with a lone pebble banging 
around inside. 

The bubonic plague is always out there, it is just a matter of 
controlling pest populations. 

Fear mongering is just a matter of making you afraid of everything.

I promise you that more people will be killed on the NJ turnpike in 
one year than will be claimed by bubonic plague in 100 years.

I'll bet you have a radon detection kit.
