Sultan Agung in Semarang, Central Java, to serve travelers who were passing on the city before reaching their respective destinations during Idul Fitri exodus. The resting area, which provides free meals, beverages and health service, will last until Thursday, which is one day prior to the holiday. "Let's not see this as a religious matter because it is pure about humanity. We are moved to help our brothers and sisters who are on journey. They are surely tired, even some of them got sick during the trip, but we will do our best to make their homecoming trip safe and sound," volunteers chief Rev. Rahmat Paska Rajaguguk said Tuesday. The resting area, which is run by 20 volunteers from the churches, has been serving the travelers since 2007. Homecomer Aris Dwi Setyono, 31, said that it was the first time for him and family to visit the resting area. "It was quite a surprise to recognize that our Christian brothers and sisters run the service," he added.
