You were working on Linux releases when you were 15? I'm impressed.

True, but he isn't suggesting that we replace the GTK/Gnome peers. He said
in a previous message "My stuff is for tomorrow". A free software Java
library implementation will give him the base he needs to add in the
functionality he wants at a future date. In the meantime, he's working on
his own portion of the code. That sort of thing is what free software is all
about.
