We're looking into using NinjaRMI as our basis of our free RMI
replacement.  I've been in contact with Matt Welsh regarding that, and
I'll make an announcement as to what's going on with RMI in the near
future.

As far as JDBC goes, I believe James Cooper <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
should be working on java.sql.  I'm unsure of his progress though.
