Some one send a mail to my secondary MTA with an invalid username. The mail
is accepted and forwarded to the primary MTA.

Question

1) Is there a way to tell the secondary MTA to check with the primary MTA if
the mail will be accepted or not (assuming the 1st MTA is available) ? (I
guess I may create all accounts and forwarding rules for each of them, but
this will not be maintainable).

2) Is there a way to tell the 1sr MTA to give up after a certain number of
attempts to return the message ?

Any other suggestions ?

/Lars
