Are you sure that system UID 1 is the UID of "daemon" (that's the owner of the 
maildir as you posted)?

Set "mail" to "/tmp/info2/Maildir" according to your directory layout posted 
before. If your default delivery goes to "~/Maildir", you don't have to set 
"mail" at all.

If you place a ".courier" file in /tmp/info2 with the following content:
| env > /tmp/info2.env

Does the specified file get created upon mail receipt?
