thx for the answer.

I gave gamin installed on my gentoo-box. But I did not got kicked out
after ofer half an hour of waiting.

I killed all possible Processes, and restarted authdaemon and
courier-imap several times.

Finally, I rebootet the hole system and that solved the problem.

So it is solved, but why does a reboot solved it, stupid. I changed
noting lese on the system.

Ovnershop have not been touched or changed. The are like before, linke
during the problem und now after the reboot unchanged.

No, zero mesages in trash-folder.

Could be. But next time the problem occurs, I will chech gamin. fam is
no longer installed as gamin is installed. The block each other on my
gentoo-system.

Ok, how can I strace on a allready running process?

Ok, next time I will perhaps dig a little more. Would be nice to get
some tasks you want me to do. Because last time, when this happend, a
couple of months ago with the user of my wife, I solved it indeed with a
reboot too ;-))
