The Beast came to see Gurdjieff one day in Paris, hoping to impress him, but
Gurdjieff was moved only to contempt.  After having offered his visitor the
customary hospitality, G sent Crowley away, growling "You go now, never come
back!  You very BAD man!" (Incident recounted in James Webb's "The Harmonious
Circle," a detailed biography.) Gurdjieff would have considered Crowley a
"hasnamuss," a "fallen spirit," i.e., EVIL.
