I don't know about AOL, but Yahoo! mail allows users the option of
forwarding as inline text, which is what I do. But if I do have to send
an attachment, I send it already opened, not as something to be
downloaded. Best bets are a) a good virus protection program; b) if you
must download, use a floppy and scan it before opening. Yahoo! also
scans attachments. Another thing to do is disable Windows Scripting
Host in your Setup program. The worst viruses are usually .vbs type,
and they won't run if that program is disabled.
