I have never once used the word 'proof' in any of my postings on this subject.

> You also said that in your list before, there had to be
> proof.

No, what I wrote is that anyone presenting extraordinary allegations needs to also
present evidence and
documentation (not 'proof') if they wish to convince beyond a reasonable doubt those
they wish to convince.

> The world does not revolve around evidence. Never has. Never will.

So you are saying the world should revolve around undocumented allegations and
unsubstantiated rumor?

> What an awful world that would be.

No, the world YOU argue for would be the more awful. Your world would have an accused
condemned solely on
accusation, with no evidence or documentation to substantiate the allegation.

Ever read "The Crucible"?

Why do you demand that we keep silent if we disagree?

If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

> I don't know much about these groups,

Obviously.

Oh, so now YOU are defining what this list is all about?

Have you ever read the addendum that is attached to every post? I doubt it, so here
it is:

> CTRL is a discussion & informational exchange list. Proselytizing propagandic
> screeds are unwelcomed. Substance-not soap-boxing-please!

Doesn't say anything about being a support group for claimants of victimization of
childhood abuse.

What YOU are arguing for is soap-boxing.

The addendum continues thusly:

> These are
> sordid matters and 'conspiracy theory'-with its many half-truths, mis-
> directions and outright frauds-is used politically by different groups
> with major and minor effects spread throughout the spectrum of time and
> thought.
> That being said, CTRLgives no endorsement to the validity of posts, and
> always suggests to readers; be wary of what you read. CTRL gives no
> credence to Holocaust denial and nazi's need not apply.
>
> Let us please be civil and as always, Caveat Lector.

So the very definition of this list tells us, the listmembers, to be wary of what we
read.

Do you even understand what 'caveat lector' means?

screeds are unwelcomed. Substance—not soap-boxing—please! These are
sordid matters and 'conspiracy theory'—with its many half-truths, mis-

major and minor effects spread throughout the spectrum of time and thought.
That being said, CTRLgives no endorsement to the validity of posts, and
always suggests to readers; be wary of what you read. CTRL gives no
credence to Holocaust denial and nazi's need not apply.

Let us please be civil and as always, Caveat Lector.
