I would say the Imap connection is for the copy in the sent folder

Basically, two commands are issued:

> Feb 15 22:09:05 ods3 dbmail-imapd[27371]: Info:[imap] 
> imap4.c,IMAPClientHandler(+191): COMMAND: [1392498540 CAPABILITY]
> Feb 15 22:09:05 ods3 dbmail-imapd[27371]: Info:[imap]

and both are handled correctly.

But *why* Acrobat would need an IMAP connection to send email in the
first place is a complete mystery to me. Are you sure dbmail-imapd is
involved at all? IMAP is *not* an email submission protocol!
