Hello,

I'm using debian sarge with grub 0.95+cvs20040624-12.

The behavour of savedefault --once --default=N

is as expected. It boots the next time the N entry (starting from 0).

The way I achieved it:

run grub as root:

savedefault --once --default=N
quit

rebooted

worked

after the next reboot I had the default value from my menu.lst.

Greetings Thomas Braun

PS: I think #254475 is about the same issue.
