thanks. i think the udev trigger fails if, for whatever reason during
d-i, the /dev/fuse node is not created fast enough.

this is not a problem, since.. if the /dev/fuse node wasn't there yet,
there's no point in reloading udev anyway, so it's safe to 'ignore'
that case by making the reloading conditional on the existence of
/dev/fuse, which i've done in above version.
