Hello Thomas,

I am well aware that removing circular dependencies is usually a pain
and that it is easier to report a bug than to fix it, but I think
this will induce maintainers to think their dependencies globally.

I hope we will get more experience to solve theses issues.

Is there a possibility for one library to check if the other library is
available at run time and replace the Depends by a Recommends ?

Eventually apps using the first library can depends on the second (you
can even automate that using shlibs).

Cheers,
Bill.
