Package: cdrw-taper Version: 0.3-6 Severity: minor Followup-For: Bug #350346
Unfortunatly you filled your bug without usage of reportbug, so some infos are not there. I have kernel 2.6.15 with udev. And the devfs setup works for me even for udev-fs. Please try this if you also have a udev setup. Comment in the second regexp and the first one out # Regexp for CD-RW devices #$CD_DEVICE_RE = "/dev/s(cd|g)\\d+:?.*"; # For devfs $CD_DEVICE_RE = "^/dev/(ide|scsi)/host\\d/bus\\d/target\\d/lun\\d/(cd|generic):"; If you are not planning to upgrade: (Think about upgrading -- udev is great!) I am not a regexp nor a perl expert, so this hint can be wrong. (No liability!) (I also can not try this, as I migrated to afbackup.) If you do not have udev running, you can enter the name of your device: $CD_DEVICE_RE = "/dev/hd[a|b|c|d]" Tobi -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages cdrw-taper depends on: ii amanda-server 1:2.4.5p1-2 Advanced Maryland Automatic Networ ii cdrecord 4:2.01+01a03-5 command line CD writing tool ii mkisofs 4:2.01+01a03-5 Creates ISO-9660 CD-ROM filesystem ii perl-base 5.8.7-10 The Pathologically Eclectic Rubbis cdrw-taper recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
