I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce your issue here. Conkeror starts up without issue with my previous session (as I have configured it). Current running version here: Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 conkeror/1.0.3 (Debian-1.0.3+git170123-1) Installed firefox-esr package is at version 52.2.0esr-1~deb9u1. I also checked: Firefox hasn't been updated since I restarted Conkeror the last time, so that Firefox-ESR version works fine for me. Can you check if you have the same firefox-esr package version? A firefox-esr package with a version of "52-2" does not exist. Please also check if * you have any add-ons installed which might have caused this, or * an individual conkerorrc with some javascript code causing this, or * loaded some specific conkeror modules in you conkerorrc and the issue is in conkeror, but module-specific.
