Package: chatty Version: 0.4.0-1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source Tags: ftbfs upstream
Chatty fails to cross-build due to a dependency resolution error for the libpurple-dev package. I'm not sure this is a chatty-specific bug but I'm also not sure where else to place it. It occurs on Debian Salsa builds: https://salsa.debian.org/DebianOnMobile-team/chatty/-/jobs/1940649#L1475 It also occurs when using git-buildpackage to cross-build for my (arm64) PinePhone from my (amd64) laptop. $ BUILDER=pbuilder DIST=bookworm git-pbuilder create $ echo 'PBUILDERSATISFYDEPENDSCMD="/usr/lib/pbuilder/pbuilder-satisfydepends-apt"' > ~/.pbuilderrc $ BUILDER=pbuilder gbp buildpackage --git-pbuilder --git-pbuilder-options="--host-arch arm64" --git-dist=bookworm [...] Building dependency tree...
