Hi! The reason why apt sends full URIs to approx has finally been tracked down. See bug #378868 for more information.
The patch previously sent is still relevant for people who would like to use approx for both "d-i etch beta3" and "d-i ubuntu dapper". It is not needed anymore with current daily d-i images. Regards, -- Jérémy
