Hi,
I chcecked the prefs.js file, however there is no such line as mentioned
in the article.
However, if I click inside gnome-about, Iceweasel is engaged as expected.

Are you sure that settings in Icedove isn't overriding the system
defaults? Something like this perhaps?

What happens when you click on links in other applications, the ones in
gnome-about for example, do they open in Epiphany too?
