Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.4-4
Severity: important

Now it happend a second time within a week, so time to file it as a bug.

I invoked "aptitude update; aptitude -i" and after the update, the
following assertion failed:

Nicht gefangene Ausnahme:
../../../src/generic/problemresolver/problemresolver.h:2216:
generic_problem_resolver<PackageUniverse>::generic_problem_resolver(int,
int, int, int, unsigned int, int, const PackageUniverse&) [with
PackageUniverse = aptitude_universe]: Assertion
"bd.broken_under(solution::root_node(initial_broken, universe,
weights))" failed.

After this, the pkgcache.bin seems to be in a very bad shape. Aptitude
refuses to start, and apt-get is panicing too, saying that about every
package installed has dependecny problems.

Removing the file pkgcache.bin cures the problem (unfortunatly I did not
preserve the offending file, but the next occurence, I will)
