I really like this and will add it to the package soon. It's strange that the interactive commands have no doc strings... I'll have to add some. I'll merge in the documentation you wrote in the bug report to explain the usage, and will use it in the Info docs as well. The defcustom will have to default to nil, I guess. Principe of least surprise and all. (That's too bad because stuff like this should be the default. But someone would complain if I made it so.) Thanks!
