Unfortunately reporting these via lintian doesn't appear to be a viable option since there doesn't appear to be a way to know all the md5sums. The best you can do is manually inspect all the buttons and check if they are visually similar to the styles of the non-free buttons (old and new). The non-free web service tineye.com can also be useful to find out if similar images are available on the web.
