syslog.0 ist das syslog vom Vortag, welches durch logrotate (Sarge) bzw. irgendwo als Teil des syslogd (Etch) erzeugt wird. Geschrieben wird ausschließlich in /var/log/syslog. Warte mal einen Tag. :) Christoph -- Famous coworker quote: "I'm still confused - just on a higher level now."
