I guess I wasn't clear enough. This should have been: What's wrong with simply re-arrange the keys on your existing keyboard and changing the layout at the same time (I'm aware it won't be 100%)? This way one can try it out without spending money and changing their mind. Later it's time to start learning to touch type.
