Let's say someone sends me a statically-linked elf binary that does, in effect, 'rm -rf ../' . Evolution, KMail, Sylpheed, Pine & Mutt will *not* run that binary attachment! The GUI MUAs (and I presume Pine & Mutt) will ask if I want to *save* the file, that's all, and it will *not* have the +x bit set. If it's a nasty shell script, they will either display the text, ask if I want to view it, or save it, again, without +x set. So, unless Nautilus or Konq are well and truly brain-dead, they won't run, even if you double-click on them. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Ron Johnson, Jr. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jefferson, LA USA "I have created a government of whirled peas..."
