I'm using the beta2 release (I think thats SVN 350, but I don't really know).

Anyway, I followed your steps (I'm using FF 1.5 under Ubuntu 6.06) and it
worked fine.  I selected two messages using the shift key, dragged and dropped
them to a folder, then selected the next 2 messages that were immediately below
the first two messages, using the shift key, and it worked.
