I'm writing the official announcement now, as I see the 2.4 release is
already in the central.
First you don't follow the templates we have for announcement
mails...nor do you follow the release procedure[1]...
The release procedure says you have to promote the artifacts for maven
central and than wait until it's synched to central which takes usually
4-6 hours..would means you have to wait until tomorrow for sending out
the announcement mail otherwise it could cause confusion if someone
tries to use it after the announcement mails has arrived...and it will
fail...
Furthermore the announcement mails has a template which should be used
for copy&paste....

In the meantime you should really follow the template cause we
encouraged to add important informations to the announcement mail[2].
