From my answer from last Wednesday to Mike Dupont:
AOO creates its Debian packages using EPM [1] when the configure option
--with-package-format="deb" is given to the AOO build. They are
assembled when AOO builds its main/postprocess module using some perl
scripts in main/solenv/bin/
